Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and real-time posting of business transactions across various categories (assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, etc.).


• Oversee proper computation and recognition of statutory deductions (VAT, WHT, NCD, NIMASA, etc.).


• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, manage journal entries and general ledger, and drive payroll processing.


• Analyze head office costs and support financial accounting functions across Group Entities.


• Provide coaching and technical support to your team, and liaise with internal auditors to resolve queries.


• Ensure compliance with current financial regulations and adherence to HSE policies.

Requirements

• A minimum of First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• 5 - 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.


• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CITN).


• Strong understanding of international and local financial reporting standards.


• Proficiency in automated financial reporting systems and the MS Office Suite.


•  Exceptional problem-solving, numerical, and analytical skills.
