The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting various construction laboratory tests, including soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests, ensuring compliance with applicable construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and maintenance of laboratory testing for concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
Assist in secondary testing of materials related to permeability, strength, and acceptance.
Record and analyze test samples following construction standards.
Compile and input test results with accuracy.
Maintain laboratory compliance with accreditation standards.
Ensure proper calibration and verification of lab equipment.
Perform any other assigned laboratory tasks.
Education & Experience
Degree / HND in Civil Engineering, Technology, or Geosciences with 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction laboratory testing (soil, asphalt, concrete, field tests).
