We are currently seeking to hire a Partnerships Manager to drive collaborations.
The role involves identifying, developing, and managing partnerships that secure funding and/or technical expertise to support our innovation, entrepreneurship, and talent development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential partners, including government bodies, corporate organisations, investors, and academic institutions, to drive funding and technical collaborations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission and strategic priorities.
Build and maintain a comprehensive database of key stakeholders and ecosystem players.
Design and implement strategies to strengthen the ecosystem’s interconnectivity and resilience.
Develop compelling partnership proposals, funding applications, and grant submissions to secure financial and technical support.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to implement partnership-driven programs, ensuring alignment with agreed objectives.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing, joint ventures, and ecosystem-building initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s position as a leading innovation hub.
Coordinate partner involvement in innovation summits, incubation programs, and entrepreneurship development initiatives.
Track partnership performance, deliver impact reports, and provide data-driven insights to improve engagement strategies.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Public Policy, Development Studies, Innovation Management, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or stakeholder engagement within the innovation, entrepreneurship, or development sectors.
Understanding of innovation ecosystems, startup incubation, and entrepreneurship development.
Familiarity with funding mechanisms, public-private partnerships, and donor-funded programs.
Proven ability to engage and negotiate with high-level stakeholders across government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing high-quality proposals and funding applications.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
