Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking innovation strategy aligned with the organisation’s mission.

  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities to drive disruptive innovation.

  • Establish a pipeline of high-impact research and development (R&D) initiatives.

  • Design and implement world-class incubation and acceleration programs.

  • Foster a robust startup ecosystem by providing mentorship, funding access, and commercialization support.

  • Partner with universities, research institutions, and corporate innovators to translate ideas into viable businesses.

  • Drive the commercialization of research outputs, ensuring impactful innovations reach the market.

  • Establish partnerships with universities, R&D institutions, and industry players to facilitate technology transfer.

  • Develop frameworks for monetizing intellectual property (IP), patents, and proprietary solutions.

  • Support researchers and entrepreneurs in securing grants, licensing deals, and venture funding.

  • Cultivate strategic alliances with corporate partners, government agencies, and global investors.

  • Secure grants, sponsorships, and investments to support the organization’s programs and initiatives.

  • Advocate for policies that promote innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.

  • Oversee organisation’s venture-building efforts, including early-stage investments and startup studio initiatives.

  • Develop revenue-generating innovation services such as corporate R&D consulting and innovation-as-a-service.

  • Scale investment models that support high-potential startups and research-driven enterprises.



Key Requirements




  • Proven leadership experience in innovation management, research commercialization, or entrepreneurship.

  • Strong background in technology transfer, startup incubation, or venture building.

  • Demonstrated ability to secure funding, grants, and strategic partnerships.

  • Experience working with universities, VCs, angel investors, and corporate innovation teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
