Job Summary




  • The accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.



Duties & Responsibilities




  • Assist in coordinating accounting functions and programs.

  • Ensure tax clearance certificate is timely and up-to-date

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports and account reconciliations…)

  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.

  • Processing and payment of all payables and follow-up on receivables

  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.

  • Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.

  • Maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring its accuracy

  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

  • Promote company services

  • Any other responsibility as advised by management



Skills and Qualifications




  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant in a professional and corporate environment or similar role.

  • Proven experience with SAGE accounting software.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
