Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the EYFS framework and deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age group that you teach.


• Be responsible for the preparation and development of lesson planning, teaching materials and pastoral care as appropriate.


• Have a clear understanding of each child’s educational needs.


• Use appropriate range of observation, monitoring and recording strategies as required in the EYFS Framework.


• Give parents oral feedback and prepare detailed termly reports.


• Implement the school curriculum consistent with the UK National Curriculum


• Communicate confidently to a range of audiences (verbal, written, using ICT as appropriate).


• Prepare teaching materials for individual and group lessons


• Prepare weekly lesson plans


• Set up classroom displays at least fortnightly


• Oversee and develop appropriate infrastructure and technology


• Ensure a productive learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified and experienced Teacher with TRCN.


• Strong Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
