We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to drive scientific excellence and innovation through accurate and reliable laboratory analysis to join our dynamic team.. 



Responsibilities 




  •  Conduct laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols and procedures.

  •  Prepare samples and reagents accurately for testing and experimentation.

  •  Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities and test results.

  •  Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

  •  Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.

  •  Collaborate with research and quality assurance teams to interpret and report data.

  •  Assist in developing and improving laboratory methods and procedures.

  •  Manage laboratory inventory and order necessary supplies and materials.

  •  Preparing and analyse samples using a variety of laboratory techniques and equipment.

  •  Conducting various laboratory tests, analysing samples, and interpreting scientific data to support research, quality control, and product development initiatives

  •  Ensure that all laboratory procedures are conducted in compliance with established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  •  Accurately document and report test results, maintain laboratory records, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and methodologies

  •  Collaborate closely with scientists, researchers, and quality assurance personnel to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory data

  • Participate in troubleshooting laboratory equipment issues, calibrating instruments, and maintaining laboratory supplies and inventory



Requirements




  •  Previous experience working in a laboratory environment preferred.

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  •  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work.

  •  Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation.

  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  •  Good communication and documentation skills.

  •  Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

  •  Effectively communicate findings and provide insightful analysis will be essential in supporting informed decision-making across various departments

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice, and a passion for scientific discovery and innovation.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree or HND in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related scientific field with 3 to 5 years’ experience in the Physico-chemical laboratory analysis of Water, Food, Beverages and Petroleum
