The Role




  • As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Minna.

  • This is a critical role that requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of production processes, supply chain logistics, and team management.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee and manage all daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.

  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse management strategies to optimize inventory control and flow.

  • Create and manage effective shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing and production coverage.

  • Identify and implement operational improvements and optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.

  • Manage and lead the production team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and manage operational budgets.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business administration, Operations Management or related field.

  • Proven experience (minimum of 4 years) working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrable experience in warehouse management, including inventory control, storage optimization, and logistics.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage shift planning to maximize efficiency and meet production demands.

  • Strong understanding of operations optimization principles and methodologies with a track record of implementing successful improvements.

  • Significant experience in managing and leading teams, including performance management, motivation, and development.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., inventory management systems, production planning software).

  • Must be willing to relocate to Minna, Niger State.

  • Must be available to resume immediately.
