Job Description
- The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent to support the hospital's operational and patient care needs. The role holder will facilitate a welcoming and informative onboarding experience, ensuring all new employees have a seamless transition into the organization.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals and staff for various hospital departments.
- Collaborate with Human Resource Business partners for job requisitions and timely filling of open positions.
- Coordinate and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, candidate outreach, interviews, selection, and offer negotiations.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings, ensuring readiness to meet staffing demands.
- Oversee the new hire onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all incoming employees.
- Ensure all clinical hires complete relevant credentialing and privileging documentation.
- Liaise with verification partners to conduct background checks for new hires; verify practicing license of licensed professionals with regulatory institutions.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment and onboarding metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, new hire retention rates, onboarding & documentation completion.
- Participate in Human Resource projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- ACIPM/PHRI, SHRM-CP or relevant HR certifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in similar HR role
