Brief Description

• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, watch both live and recorded video surveillance footage, report incidents or suspicious behavior and contact the authorities when necessary.

Duties

• Sit in front of a bank of screens, constantly monitor the live pictures that come in from the surveillance cameras.


• Operate and maintain CCTV monitors and NVR/DVR.


• Operate the position of the cameras.


• Monitor company’s premises including equipment, vehicles, materials, products.


• Monitor anyone acting suspiciously, and alert security staff or police for any anti-social behavior.


• Monitor staff working in facilities for their safety.


• Report incident or suspicious behavior within the work place.


• Replay of recorded video surveillance footage during investigation.


• Manage fire alarm system and it components.


• Respond to the fire alarm system when the alarm triggers.


• Clean optical smoke detector when needed.


• Replace the break glass on the manual call point in the case of damage.


• Prepare and submit daily reports on both day and night shifts activities within company’s premises.


• Store video footage that involves incident in the work place.
