The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize logistics and transportation activities. Responsibilities include: Designing and executing effective logistics strategies, Managing transportation networks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, Ensuring prompt and reliable delivery of goods.



The role holder will report to the Operations Director, based in Lagos, Nigeria.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Create and execute logistics plans to enhance efficiency and cut costs.

  • Oversee transportation networks, including choosing carriers, planning routes, and scheduling.

  • Ensure prompt delivery of goods while meeting customer expectations.

  • Supervise and guide a team of logistics professionals.

  • Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams for seamless coordination.

  • Evaluate data and performance metrics to improve logistics processes.

  • Ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

  • 5-7 years' experience in logistics and transportation management roles.

  • Proven knowledge of logistics operations, transportation systems, and supply chain processes.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Capacity to thrive in dynamic environments and exercise sound judgment.
