Summary
- Our client is seeking for a Head of Corporate Partnerships that will play a pivotal role in driving the company growth strategy by securing, managing, and nurturing relationships with corporate clients.
- This role is key in meeting sales targets, especially a target of 1 billion Naira in annual revenue, by leading partnership initiatives with key industry players, government entities, corporate organisations, and major enterprises across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate partnerships strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and revenue targets.
- Create a structured approach for identifying, engaging, and retaining corporate partners.
- Lead the development of tailored proposals, presentations, and contractual agreements that align with client needs and business objectives.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Oversee the corporate sales process, from lead generation to closing high-value deals, ensuring a sales target of 1 billion Naira is consistently met or exceeded. - Identify new business opportunities and secure contracts with large organisations across sectors such as hospitality, education, healthcare, and real estate.
- Foster long-term business relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities.
Partnership Management:
- Manage existing corporate relationships to ensure exceptional service delivery and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Maintain and monitor client engagement strategies to ensure that all partnerships are nurtured, delivering mutual value.
- Develop tailored solutions for clients based on their specific needs, coordinating with internal teams (design, production, logistics, etc.) for seamless delivery.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Marketing, Product Development, and Operations teams to ensure alignment in service delivery and the execution of partnership agreements.
- Lead and collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure corporate clients’ needs are effectively met post-sale.
- Report directly to the MD on corporate partnership metrics, sales performance, and ongoing opportunities.
Market Research and Industry Networking:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to identify new areas for corporate partnerships.
- Attend key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and engage with potential partners.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of business development professionals and partnership managers.
- Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the team, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Provide coaching and development to staff, helping them grow professionally and contribute to the company’s objectives.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop regular reports on the performance of corporate partnerships, tracking KPIs, sales, and opportunities.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management to meet short- and long-term goals.
- Utilise CRM tools and other business systems to track engagement and maintain an up-to-date record of all corporate partnerships.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Sales Revenue:
- Achieve or exceed the annual sales target of 1 billion Naira through corporate partnerships and client relationships.
Client Acquisition and Retention:
- Secure at least 20 number of new corporate clients per quarter.
- Maintain a client retention rate of 95% by nurturing existing relationships and offering excellent customer service.
Partnership Development:
- Increase the number of strategic partnerships with key industry players (e.g., contractors, architects, interior designers) by 30% annually.
- Establish and formalize 10 new corporate agreements per quarter, with an average deal value of 24 million Naira.
Lead Conversion Rate:
- Maintain a lead conversion rate of 70% by converting leads into signed contracts and long-term partnerships.
Client Satisfaction and NPS:
- Achieve a client satisfaction score of 90% or higher, with an NPS (Net Promoter Score) of 75% or above for corporate clients.
Team Development and Productivity:
- Ensure that all direct reports meet or exceed their individual sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide effective leadership to ensure a motivated and high-performing team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess minimum of Bachelor's Degrees with 5+ years relevant work experience.
