Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Home Economics Teacher with a strong background in science education and 4-6 years of teaching experience.


• The ideal candidate should reside in Ibadan or nearby areas and be available for an in-person interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Home Economics, including cooking, nutrition, home management, and personal hygiene.


• Incorporate scientific principles into the curriculum to enhance students’ understanding.


• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to meet curriculum objectives.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Organize practical sessions and ensure a safe learning environment.


• Participate in school events, workshops, and meetings.

Requirements

• B.Sc./B.Ed. in Home Economics, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.


• 4-6 years of teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school.


• Strong science background is essential.


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.


• Resides in Ibadan or neighboring areas.


• Willingness to attend an in-person interview.
