Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Department for Science, Technology, and Mathematics.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department, enhancing curriculum delivery, and fostering a culture of academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to departmental staff.


• Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies.


• Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment.


• Monitor students’ academic progress and implement improvement plans.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Organize and facilitate department meetings and professional development sessions.


• Ensure adherence to educational standards and school policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a science-related subject.


• Proven leadership and management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reside in Ibadan or nearby locations and willing to attend the interview.
