Role Description



This is a full-time urgent, on-site role as a Storekeeper at Clyne Paper Limited located in Kuje. The Storekeeper will be responsible for tasks such as packing items, inventory control, inventory management, unloading deliveries, and operating a forklift.



 




  • We are seeking a diligent and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and oversee the storage and distribution of materials at our factory in Kuje.

  • The ideal candidate will have some experience in a similar role and a background in accounting to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient inventory management.



Qualifications




  • BSC in accounting or finance.

  • Packing, Unloading, and Forklift Operation skills

  • Inventory Control and Inventory Management experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Good physical stamina and strength

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with inventory management software and basic accounting principles.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage inventory levels and ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.

  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, orders, and deliveries.

  • Ensure the storage area is organized and materials are stored safely and efficiently.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain supplier records.

  • Assist with inventory-related accounting tasks, such as cost tracking and budgeting.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
