Job Summary




  • The Junior Facility Officer assists in the daily operations and maintenance of buildings, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. 

  • This role involves supporting facility management tasks, coordinating minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

  • The officer works closely with vendors, maintenance teams, and management to maintain the property efficiently.



Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance & Operations:




  • Assist in overseeing the maintenance of buildings, utilities, and equipment.

  • Report and track repairs, ensuring timely resolution of facility issues.

  • Coordinate with service providers for cleaning, security, and waste management.

  • Monitor the condition of common areas and office spaces, ensuring tidiness and functionality.



Vendor & Contractor Coordination:




  • Liaise with maintenance personnel, technicians, and third-party contractors.

  • Assist in verifying service quality and ensuring work is completed as agreed.

  • Support procurement of facility-related supplies and services.



Health, Safety & Compliance:




  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Report any health and safety hazards to the facility manager.

  • Assist in maintaining records for fire safety, security, and emergency response procedures.



Administrative Support:




  • Keep records of facility inspections, maintenance schedules, and vendor contracts.

  • Assist in preparing reports on facility conditions and operational needs.

  • Respond to staff or tenant requests related to facility issues.



Qualifications & Skills




  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in facility management or property operations.

  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software is a plus.
