Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities:
- Researching and identifying potential clients, markets, and partnerships.
- Developing and implementing targeted business development strategies.
- Generating leads and nurturing relationships with prospects.

Building and Maintaining Relationships:
- Building strong relationships with current and potential clients.
- Attending industry events and networking to expand the professional network.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Developing and executing sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
- Collaborating with marketing teams to create and implement marketing campaigns.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiating contracts, partnerships, and agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Tracking and analyzing sales performance and business development metrics.
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts.
- Supporting the team with other responsibilities as required.
Strategic Planning:
- Developing and implementing business development plans and strategies.

Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. 2nd class division in Marketing, Insurance or any other relevant field
- Must be a resident in Abuja
- Excellent driving skills
- Professional qualifications in marketing
- HMO Experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge of the operations of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) will be an added advantage
- Excellent selling and customer relationship skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written English
- Must be a team player, able to build and maintain effective and collaborative sales and marketing network
- Must be able to take responsibility and demonstrate a high level of integrity in dealing with all stakeholders
- Must have knowledge of the environment.
