Key Responsibilities




  • Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities:

  • Researching and identifying potential clients, markets, and partnerships.

  • Developing and implementing targeted business development strategies.

  • Generating leads and nurturing relationships with prospects.

  • Identifying new revenue streams and growth areas.



Building and Maintaining Relationships:




  • Building strong relationships with current and potential clients.

  • Attending industry events and networking to expand the professional network.

  • Managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.



Sales and Marketing Support:




  • Developing and executing sales plans to meet and exceed targets.

  • Collaborating with marketing teams to create and implement marketing campaigns.

  • Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to potential clients.



Negotiation and Contract Management:




  • Negotiating contracts, partnerships, and agreements to secure favorable terms.

  • Managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.



Reporting and Analysis:




  • Tracking and analyzing sales performance and business development metrics.

  • Preparing reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.



Team Collaboration:




  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts.

  • Supporting the team with other responsibilities as required.



Strategic Planning:




  • Developing and implementing business development plans and strategies.

Requirements




  • Minimum of B.Sc. 2nd class division in Marketing, Insurance or any other relevant field

  • Must be a resident in Abuja

  • Excellent driving skills

  • Professional qualifications in marketing

  • HMO Experience is an added advantage

  • Knowledge of the operations of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) will be an added advantage

  • Excellent selling and customer relationship skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written English

  • Must be a team player, able to build and maintain effective and collaborative sales and marketing network

  • Must be able to take responsibility and demonstrate a high level of integrity in dealing with all stakeholders

  • Must have knowledge of the environment.
