Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Caterpillar diesel and gas engines.


• Troubleshoot engine performance issues.


• Conduct engine overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly.


• Work with fuel injection systems, turbochargers, cooling systems, and electrical components.


• Ensure compliance with Caterpillar service guidelines and industry standards.


• Prepare technical reports on engine performance, maintenance schedules, and repairs.


• Collaborate with technicians, service teams, and clients to provide technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.


• 3+ years of experience working with Caterpillar engines in industrial, marine, or heavy equipment applications.


• Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics and fuel systems.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Caterpillar-certified technician or relevant industry certification.


• Experience with Caterpillar marine engines, generators, or heavy-duty equipment.


• Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and control systems in Caterpillar machinery.
