Job Description
Overview
- We are looking for a Crane Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment.
- Inspect crane components, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, to identify faults.
- Replace, adjust, and repair defective parts such as motors, gearboxes, hoists, winches, and cables.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during maintenance activities.
- Test cranes after repairs to ensure they function properly and meet operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Work closely with the maintenance team and report issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in crane maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems.
- Ability to diagnose faults and repair components efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and crane inspection standards.
- Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Offshore Pedestal Crane.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with port cranes, offshore cranes, tower cranes, or mobile cranes.
- Knowledge of crane brands such as TechCrane, Liebherr, Manitowoc, Konecranes, or similar.
- Certification in crane maintenance or lifting equipment inspection.
