Our Client seeks a highly experienced and driven Junior Agricultural Sales Engineer to support the rollout of Client products across Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in farmer engagement, market research, trial tracking, and agrodealer follow-up.
The role is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Job Description
- Visit farmers, cooperatives, and agro-dealers to promote Client product.
- Collect data on market demand, competitors, and pricing.
- Help distribute trial seeds and collect feedback from farms.
- Take photos, record observations, and monitor crop performance.
- Assist with farmer demo events and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with the senior engineer on daily planning and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agro-dealers and farmers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture or Agronomy.
- 1–3 years of field experience in agricultural input sales or extension work.
- Strong understanding of local farming practices and cropping seasons.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel across regions.
- Motivated, responsible, and eager to learn
