Job Summary

• The Medical Doctor is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and promoting health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

• Conduct medical examinations and diagnose patients.


• Develop and implement treatment plans.


• Prescribe medications and therapies.

Medical History:

• Take medical histories and update patient records.

Diagnostic Testing:

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab, imaging).

Treatment and Management:

• Manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).


• Provide preventive care (e.g., vaccinations, screenings).

Communication:

• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.


• Educate patients on healthy habits and disease management.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, specialists).

Continuing Education:

• Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a BSc Degree in Medicine with 2 - 5 years work experience.


• Medical licensure.


• Post NYSC experience


• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Work Environment:

• Hospital andprivate practice setting.


• May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays.
