We are seeking an organized and efficient Admission/Exams Officer to join our educational institution in Benin City, Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the admissions process and coordinating examinations for our students.
- Oversee the entire admissions process, including application review, document verification, and candidate communication
- Carryout biometric exercise and register students for exams
- Coordinate and administer various examinations, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in the institution's database
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to schedule exams and manage logistics
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding admissions and exams
- Prepare reports and statistics related to admissions and examination results
- Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations in Nigeria
- Assist in the development and implementation of admission and examination procedures
- Participate in student recruitment events and activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions or exam administration in an educational setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of admission processes and exam procedures
- Familiarity with educational policies and regulations in Nigeria
- Must know how to do biometrics and be computer literate
