DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and interpret business data across various database platforms (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres).


• Design, develop interactive dashboards, reports, and communicate analytic insights using BI tools such as Power BI, Bold BI to support data-driven decision- making for our internal management and external clients


• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in queries, dashboards, and reports to ensure optimal performance and usability.


• Address BI-related issues and provide ongoing support to business users.


• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical BI solutions.


• Design, build, test and maintain data analytics solutions, making sure they meet business requirements and user needs.


• Assisting with ad hoc analytic projects using SQL or Excel to identify opportunities and elevate customer experience and operational efficiency.


• Develop and automate reports for departments as requested.


• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in SQL scripting using SQL Server(preferred), MySQL, Postgres etc.


• Proficiency in the use of visualization tools – Power BI or Bold BI (preferred)


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a particular skill in interpreting to non-technical audiences.


• Strong Analytical mindset with keen eye for details


• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.


• Familiar with the use of orchestration tools such as Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory etc.


• Proficiency in Excel (Power View, Power Query & Power Pivot, etc.)


• Experience designing and implementing automated ETL processes.


• Proficient in data management including data analytical capability.


• Proficiency with Python or any related programming language for data manipulation will be an added advantage.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A university degree – B.Sc. in Computer Science or any related course and post qualification work experience of at least 3 years


• At least 3-5 years’ experience performing a similar function.


• Open mind with willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
