Job Description

• As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Backhoe Operator to join our dynamic team. 


• This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator to contribute to major construction projects while working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.


• As a Backhoe Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of backhoe machinery on construction sites. 


• You will be responsible for digging, lifting, and moving materials, as well as assisting with various earthwork tasks. 


• Your attention to detail, ability to follow safety protocols, and experience in heavy machinery will be key in ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe machinery to excavate, load, and transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris.


• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.


• Work closely with the site supervisor and other crew members to execute earthmoving tasks.


• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.


• Ensure machinery is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.


• Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure backhoe equipment is in good working condition.


• Assist in other general construction tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience operating backhoe machinery in a construction environment.


• Proven ability to operate backhoes safely and efficiently.


• Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety standards.


• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Certification in equipment operation or relevant trade is a plus.
