About the Job
The ideal candidate will:
- Oversee all annual report filings, including payroll tax reports, financial and budget reports and other legislative report filings.
- Generate and send accurate financial reports – Daily operations' report, Weekly operations financial analytical report, Monthly transactions report.
- Compliance with all financial/ accounting regulations – PAYE to LIRS, Staff pension remittances etc.
- Ensure prompt pay-out to kwiksters.
- Ensure prompt payment for goods and services with recourse to budgetary provisions, controls and value for money.
- Take responsibility for, and supervise all junior members of staff in your team.
- Manage the overall administrative activities of the office.
- Oversee and lead the month-end and year-end close process, coordinate the annual audit budgeting and planning processes, administers and reviews all financial budgets, monitor progress and changes and keep senior management team abreast of the organization's financial status.
- Coordinate and assist in initiating, as appropriate, inter-office projects, system upgrades, and other related programs and activities.
- Provide financial support to staff, customers, kwiksters and other stakeholders
- Assists in formulating and implementing short-term and long-term goals, business projects, and plans to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the company's processes and operations including budget instructions, policy development, procedures and guidelines to be used by every unit and cost Centre within the organization
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Experience / Knowledge Qualifications
- A B.Sc Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance
- ACCA or ICAN certification / membership.
- 5+ years of experience in the field.
