Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Reservoir Engineer to join our team and contribute to the evaluation, development, and management of oil and gas reservoirs.

  • The successful candidate will use advanced analytical techniques and simulation models to assess reservoir performance, optimize production strategies, and maximize recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze reservoir performance data including pressure, production, and fluid properties.

  • Construct and maintain reservoir simulation models (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, Petrel RE).

  • Estimate oil and gas reserves using volumetric, decline curve analysis, and material balance methods.

  • Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling, production, and facilities engineers to optimize field development plans.

  • Perform economic evaluations and risk analysis for reservoir development projects.

  • Design and monitor enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects (e.g., waterflood, gas injection, chemical EOR).

  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and reserve documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

  • Monitor well performance and recommend re-completion, stimulation, or drilling opportunities.

  • Stay current with advancements in reservoir engineering practices, tools, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in reservoir engineering or related roles in the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, PETREL).

  • Solid understanding of fluid flow, reservoir characterization, and recovery methods.

  • Knowledge of economic modeling and reserve estimation techniques.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SPE-PRMS, SEC).
