Major Responsibilities




  • Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.

  • Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.

  • Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.

  • Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.

  • Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.

  • Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.



Requirements




  • Minimum of SSCE or OND Degree.

  • The ideal candidate must be able to prepare at least two or three of the following; Continental cuisine, Italian cuisine, Nigerian cuisine, and Chinese cuisine.

  • 2 - 5 years proven experience working as a Cook or Chef.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to read and write is compulsory.
