Job Description
PURPOSE
To ensure software, systems and products meet the organization's quality standard requirements through the implementation of quality assurance strategies, development and execution of test plans to detect defects to operate efficiently and identify opportunities for improvement.
THE JOB
- Validate requirements against user expectations and update test plans and documentation.
- Develop and implement test plans to assess functionality, performance, and compatibility of software systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate and improve systems.
- Negotiate quality criteria with customers and vendors to ensure user satisfaction.
- Test continuity management plans and procedures to ensure system resilience.
- Review and categorize requests for change (RFCs) and prioritize changes.
- Manage the transition of changes to operations, accepting or rejecting RFCs as needed.
- Convene change advisory board (CAB) meetings to facilitate effective evaluation of changes.
THE PERSON MUST
- Understanding of Software Testing Concepts
- Be Experienced in using Testing Tools
- Be Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Have Basic Knowledge of Databases and SQL
- Have Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
QUALIFICATION
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Computer Science/ Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Eng.
EXPERIENCE
- At least two years experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field.
