Job Summary




  • As the Regional Sales & Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for proactively generating and nurturing leads to achieve sales targets and grow our market share within the region.

  • You will engage with prospective clients and convert opportunities into finalized Gas Sales & Purchase Agreements (GSPAs). 

  • This role is highly dynamic and requires regular travel to meet with potential customers.

  • You are expected to be a tenacious new business hunter, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a dedicated Sales and Business Development team. 

  • Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (East & South) or the Sales Director, you will primarily function in an external, customer-facing capacity.

  • Based out of our regional offices in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and Asaba, Delta State, your key responsibilities will include identifying and prospecting Industrial CNG customers for their power and process requirements, as well as targeting NGV fleet operators, ultimately converting these leads into contractual gas sales.



Responsibilities




  • Identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers.

  • Generating Leads and Database of Industrial Customers who’d require the Business Solutions being offered by the Company

  • Following up on Leads and participating in negotiations according to company guidelines.

  • Successfully Executing Gas Sales Contracts with Customers

  • Following up on first supplies to Client by liaising with Client and Company Operations team

  • Identifying other opportunities to generate additional revenue through expansion into new geographical areas as well as supporting the development of new accounts.

  • Supporting management in the crafting and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy.

  • Managing customer relationships to achieve goals and plans within assigned sales territory.

  • Building and maintaining relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.

  • Responding to customer concerns about the company and its products/services.

  • Ensuring that market intelligence is gathered in a systematic manner and such information is captured.

  • Facilitate the development of partnerships and alliances that promote growth of Company business.

  • Establishing and maintaining a working relationship with regulatory bodies

  • Any other specific duty to be assigned by Sales Director from time to time.

  • Preparing Weekly, Monthly and Annual Sales Reports

  • Travel Requirements – extensive

  • Base Location – Port Harcourt, Rivers State



Qualifications




  • 3-5 years Sales and Marketing experience working within Energy / Oil & Gas / Power Sector operating in the Nigeria

  • Education: BSc. Or HND

  • Knowledge CNG process & infrastructure

  • Knowledge of account management, lead generation and relationship management

  • First class consultative sales/marketing skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for assessing customer processes, customer needs and customer satisfaction.

  • As a person, you are young, emphatic, energetic and sharp, result driven, independent and you have an entrepreneurial mindset. 

  • You are down to earth and you have a pragmatic way of approaching your job and its tasks
