The Sales Supervisor is responsible for organizing workflow and ensuring that the sales team deliver on stipulated targets, develop sales strategies, follow through and generate sales reports in a timely manner.
This role involves a smooth operation of the sales and corporate teams and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.
Job Role
Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support
Organize and coordinate a sales team
Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock
Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand
Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards
Supervisor and oversee the maintenance of customer databases
Analyze field reports and prepare sales documents
Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred
3 years’ experience in a sales focused customer/client facing role with a track record of top performance
