Job Description
We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Program therapists, Guidance Counselors, Psychologists and massage therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the emotional, social, and educational well-being of the children and families we serve. You will work closely with children, parents, educators, and our multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop personalized plans, provide counseling and psychological support tailored to each family’s unique strengths and challenges. Your expertise will help us create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and support plans tailored to each child’s unique needs, using evidence-based practices including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Provide both in-person and virtual counseling and therapeutic services to children and families.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and client consultations, both physical and virtual, to evaluate developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other team members to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Identify developmental and therapeutic goals for each child, and provide input on effective instructional and behavioral strategies.
- Offer guidance and support to children and families during key transitions, such as entering a new school or reaching developmental milestones.
- Serve as a liaison between the social work and therapy teams to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to care.
- Regularly monitor, review, and update treatment plans based on the child’s progress and evolving needs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including training and workshops, to remain current with best practices in ABA, child psychology, and special education.
- Provide massage therapy to clients
- Provide therapy services to clients
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor to support the overall mission of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Special education, Psychology, Counseling, ABA, or related field.
- Relevant certification or licensure (e.g., Guidance Counselor, Psychologist, BCBA).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with children with special needs (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia).
- Proficient in psychological assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of ABA techniques and IEP development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathetic, patient, and committed to child development.
- Comfortable with virtual therapy tools and digital documentation.
- Teaching experience is a plus for the role of a support therapist
- At least one year experience in your selected role
- Must have completed NYSC
