Job Overview

• The Academic Content Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and quality assurance of academic content—primarily questions and supporting materials—for quiz competitions.

Key Responsibilities

Content Oversight & Development:

• Lead the end-to-end process of content creation for multiple subjects (e.g., Mathematics, English, Sciences, etc.).


• Develop high-quality academic questions and related materials for use in quiz competitions.


• Ensure questions are factually correct, clearly worded, and balanced in terms of difficulty and subject coverage.

Curriculum Alignment & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all content aligns with relevant academic standards (e.g., WAEC, NECO, JAMB, or university-level benchmarks).

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Education or any core academic subject (Mathematics, Science, English, etc.).


• Strong experience in question writing, assessment design, or academic content development.


• Excellent command of grammar, structure, and subject knowledge across multiple domains.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working with televised or school-based quiz competitions.


• Involvement in academic competitions, assessment boards, or content writing for publishing companies.


• Experience editing academic books, exam prep materials, or educational TV scripts.
