  • Howbury School is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Personal Assistant to support our dynamic School Director. This is a key role requiring discretion, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of leveraging technology to streamline administrative and communication processes.



Key Responsibilities




  • Provide high-level administrative support to the School Director, including managing schedules, meetings, travel, and communications.

  • Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.

  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points.

  • Act as a liaison between the Director and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Assist with project management, event planning, and policy documentation.

  • Maintain digital filing systems and manage databases efficiently.

  • Support the Director with the use of digital tools for productivity and communication.



Requirements




  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role.

  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and digital scheduling tools.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field (preferred).



Desirable:




  • Experience working in an educational environment.

  • Familiarity with productivity platforms like Trello, Asana, or Notion.

  • Knowledge of basic design tools (e.g., Canva) for presentations or internal communications.
