Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing them for IGCSE examinations.


• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.


• Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.


• Collaborate with colleagues in cross-curricular planning and school events.


• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, departmental meetings, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Biology, Education, or a related field.


• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Biology at the IGCSE level.


• Excellent communication skills and a passion for student development.


• Familiarity with international education standards and practices.


• Ability to integrate technology and practical activities into the curriculum.
