Job Summary
- The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for a supermarket and fashion mall.
- The role involves driving foot traffic, enhancing customer engagement, promoting in-store events, and contributing to sales growth through targeted and creative marketing campaigns.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both traditional retail marketing and digital engagement, with experience in managing high-traffic retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement marketing campaigns for the supermarket and fashion mall, including seasonal promotions, product launches, in-store activations, and special events.
- Develop strategies to drive foot traffic and improve customer retention, ensuring customer loyalty through tailored promotions and campaigns.
- Manage and optimize the mall’s digital presence, including social media channels, website content, and online directories, to drive brand visibility and attract new shoppers.
- Work closely with the retail teams across the supermarket and fashion mall to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including flyers, banners, digital content and promotional assets.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, media partners, and influencers to expand marketing reach and increase brand visibility.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, POS data, and customer feedback to assess effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
- Organize and execute mall-wide events, such as fashion shows, holiday promotions, special weekend deals, and product tastings, to drive engagement and sales.
- Supervise and support junior marketing staff, interns, and external agencies involved in campaign execution, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
- Work with the retail teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and enhance the overall customer experience in the mall.
- Be available to work weekends as required to oversee marketing activities and sales events.
- Stay informed about the latest retail industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to keep the mall's marketing efforts fresh and competitive.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Master's is an added advantage.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in retail, shopping mall management, supermarkets, or fashion retail is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior in physical retail environments.
- Experience in organizing in-store promotions, events, and visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing loyalty programs and CRM tools.
- Ability to analyze retail sales data and develop insights to inform marketing decisions.
- Knowledge of local market trends and customer demographics.
