The assistant manager finance is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, managing financial operations, and maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
The role involves providing leadership to junior finance staff, driving process improvements, and supporting the Finance Manager in achieving departmental goals.
The assistant manager will also play a key role in ensuring the company’s financial health through effective management of accounting processes and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Ensure the correctness of all General ledgers
Supervision of customers receipt and ensure collectionsare according to SLA timeline.
Ensure the corrections of all reports (Monthly and weekly)
Timeline submission of report
Ensure Statutory and regulatory compliance
Prepare supplementary reports when required.
Ensure correctness of monthly bank reconciliation for FM sign off
Prepare cashflow projections for business plan and other projects.
Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as required
Perform month end closure activity.
prepare and perform check runs
Ensure 100% Statutory and regulatory compliance.
Engagement with external and internal audit activities.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Maintain accurate historical records by verifying all payment supportive documents on Bitrix.
Ensure OLA are complied with.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND qualification, Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 8 years of experience.
