As a Sales Representative specializing in corn derivatives, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with clients. This position requires a deep understanding of FMCG dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet sales targets effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to expand sales territory.
Present, promote, and sell corn derivative products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging trends in corn derivatives.
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Analyze the territory/market’s potential and track sales and status reports.
Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
Participate in trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations to represent the company.
Stay updated with product knowledge, marketing promotions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the FMCG sector minimum of 2 years
Strong knowledge of corn derivatives and their applications.
Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
Professional Association membership will be an added advantage
Work Environment:
This role is purely a field one.
Frequent visit to client sites, including retail stores and trade (markets), is expected.
