Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients.

  • Manage existing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing revenue potential.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.

  • Track and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the EdTech industry.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or a related field, preferably within the EdTech industry.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Passion for education and a strong belief in the power of technology to transform learning.



Bonus Points:




  • Experience working within the K-12 education market.

  • Understanding of the EdTech landscape in Africa (a plus, but not mandatory).
