Job Summary:




  • The Asset Monitoring Center Analyst is responsible for providing initial vetting for all alerts that come to the Vetting Console.

  • The analyst uses all tools available to them, such as reports, PI Process book, Digital Twin, MDPro, RTPO, Seeq, tools and trends, etc. to validate alerts.

  • He / She decides if the alert should be valid or not, generate a Job request, an MTO entry or refers it to the Asset engineer for further consideration.

  • They also ensure the functioning of the monitoring tools by being the first line of intervention and if required the need to escalate



Main Responsibilities:




  • AMC Analysts are responsible for manning and managing the Asset Monitoring Center facility onsite.

  • AMC Analysts are responsible for surveillance services for Compressors, Pumps, Columns, and other equipment in LNG facilities using the available predictive and condition monitoring tools

  • Responsible for the management of EBS (Exception Based System) alerts generated by EBS software e.g., Prism, MRC (Maintenance Response Center), etc. as deployed to the AMC.

  • Responsible for preparing and sharing data and observations from AMC application alerts for the equipment that impact operations and production in the plant.

  • Accountable for recording and tracking status, benefits, and lessons from key findings.

  • Responsible for delivering continued improvement of AMC functions•Accountable for representing the AMC in asset meetings (e.g., STO)•Responsible for leading 360 feedback session with Asset Engineers and Specialists



JOB REQUIREMENTS



Education




  • A BSc University degree in Engineering or Sciences (Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Control, Mechanical or any other related field) or any other professional certification required for the job.

  • MSc degree in Engineering or Sciences (Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Control, Mechanical or any other related field) is an added advantage



Experience




  • Minimum 3-years post-graduation work experience in Process, Instrumentation and Mechanical systems in the oil and gas industry with emphasis on Condition MonitoringSkills•Be able to validate alerts that are generated by exception and determine action required

  • Have a general to skilled understanding of oil and gas operations, mechanical and electrical systems

  • Digital analytic skill would be advantageous e.g., programming, data analysis, visualization.

  • Interpret alert message and use all available tools to validate, including but not limited to: PI, Smart Connect, MRC and any other AMC specific resources

  • For valid alerts that do not require action, use valid-no action option

  • Understand ongoing work on the asset that caused alert to trigger

  • Identify bad data

  • For invalid alerts, be able to identify why alert is false and determine why alert triggered

  • Dig into data and alert logic at base level

  • Work with appropriate Asset Engineer as needed to investigate and recommend configuration adjustments

  • Use “false, no action” for apparent logic issues that may need to be addressed or for bad data

  • Monitor system for chattering alerts (alerts going in and out of event state frequently), stuck alerts (alerts stuck in an active state), and broken alerts (alerts not working as expected)

  • Create Nuisance Alert Reports that outline alerts that have triggered over a set number of times over a pre-defined period (usually two weeks).

  • Timely clear out of active alerts•Percentage reduction in standing alerts in monitoring tools

  • Timely submission of periodic reports.•Number (percentage) of nuisance alerts resolved.•Compliance with tracking sheet update requirements
