Position Summary



  • This position will assist in the implementation of stakeholder’s engagement with Government Authorities, Community engagement, public relations and CSR Initiative as formulated by the GM/Head of Government Relations & Security.


Principal Accountabilities



  • Sustain the convivial relationship with MWUN, NPA, NIMASA, Shippers Council as guided by the strategy formulated by the GM/Head of Government Relations and Security.

  • Complication of NIS, NEPZA Monthly returns and documentation.

  • Implementation of CSR plan as formulated by the GM/Head of Government Relations & Security.

  • Support with the planning and delivery of workshops, Community and focus group.

  • Support the development and successful implementation of communication and detailed tactical delivery plan.

  • Follow up on documentation process with LFZ relating to NIS, Customs through NEPZA as guided by the GM/Head of Government Relations & Security.

  • Support stakeholder mapping and prepare communication to stakeholders after synchronization with the GM/Head of Government Relations and Security.

Critical Qualifications / Skills / Experience



  • Requires University Degree / HND qualification

  • Minimum of five years’ work experience.

  • Appreciation of the infrastructure - related political environment.

  • Must have strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.

  • Requires strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and negotiation skills.

  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.

  • Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situation. in complex business environment.

  • Ability to develop and implement stakeholders’ engagement plan.

  • Requires knowledge to review and interpret survey and other data.

  • Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management.

  • Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
