Job Description




  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on their use.

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.

  • Guide the use of OTC medications, health supplements, and treatment options.

  • Monitor patient health and progress to ensure medications are working effectively.

  • Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions, inventory, and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage drug therapies.

  • Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and medical protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in pharmacy practice.

  • Manage and oversee pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiration dates.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

  • Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria.

  • Proven experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.

  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage administration.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
