We are seeking an experienced and skilled Continental Cuisine Chef to join our restaurant team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of continental dishes, including Italian, French, Spanish, and other European cuisines.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a keen sense of flavor and presentation, and excellent kitchen management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Menu planning and preparation: Develop and prepare continental dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
Kitchen management: Manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
Food quality control: Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
Inventory management: Order and manage kitchen inventory, including ingredients, spices, and cooking supplies.
Kitchen safety and hygiene: Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Culinary degree or equivalent: A degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
Continental cuisine expertise: Proven experience in preparing and cooking continental dishes.
Kitchen management experience: Experience managing kitchen staff and inventory.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
Creativity and innovation: Ability to create new dishes and menus that showcase continental cuisine.
