Job Description

• Are you a finance professional passionate about impactful work and international donor-funded projects? Our client is currently seeking to engage a Project Accountant for its Project Implementation Unit (PIU).

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a sound financial management system to support the implementation of project funds, ensuring transparency, accountability, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, audits, compliance with required donor requirements, procedures, and government standards. 


• Liaising with the Project Manager on all financial matters relating to the projects.

Experience and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field.


• ICAN / ACCA / CPA certified with a minimum of 3 years professional qualification experience.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience with International donor-funded project finance.


• Strong proficiency in accounting software and internet navigation.
