- The Superintendent Pharmacist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the pharmaceutical production, quality control, and regulatory compliance functions, ensuring the manufacture of high-quality products that meet regulatory standards.
- Ensure all functional activities adhere to cGMP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Supervise the production process to ensure timely delivery of planned products' quantities.
- Directly manage premises registration with regulatory agencies.
- Directly manage product registration and renewal with NAFDAC.
- Manage the generation, control, and archiving of registration documents.
- Actively participate in developing production records to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage manufacturing resources and assets to achieve performance objectives.
- Direct and participate in cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure factory compliance with regulatory GMPs and safety requirements.
- Contribute to production budget preparation.
- Develop and manage Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) through improved documentation.
- Participate in Qualifications, Validations, and Calibrations programs.
- Develop periodic sectional reports reflecting regulatory compliance KPIs.
- Approve and monitor suppliers and contract acceptors.
- Designate and monitor storage conditions for materials and products.
- Perform and evaluate in-process controls.
- Maintain records.
- Monitor compliance with GMP.
- Conduct inspections, investigations, and sampling.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry trends
