Key Responsibilities




  •  Enhance and correct digital photos by adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and color balance to improve image quality.

  • Review and select the best images from photoshoots or submissions based on composition, relevance, and technical quality.

  • Apply artistic effects, filters, and manipulations to create unique visual content in line with brand or editorial style.

  • Adjust image dimensions for various platforms (web, print, social media) while maintaining high resolution and visual integrity.

  • Digitally restore old, faded, or damaged images, repairing cracks, tears, and discoloration.

  • Merge multiple photos into a single image or scene, using layers and masking techniques.

  • Remove, replace, or blur backgrounds in photos using tools like Photoshop’s pen tool, magic wand, or AI selection.

  • Process large volumes of images efficiently while maintaining consistency in editing style and quality.

  • Ensure accurate and consistent color grading across images to meet brand standards or client preferences.

  • Work with clients, photographers, or art directors to understand project needs and deliver according to specifications.



Education and Work Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in photo editing.

  • Experience working with brands, agencies, or stock photography platforms is a plus.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Photo Editor, Retoucher, or Digital Imaging Specialist.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in photo editing and retouching.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and other editing tools.

  • Knowledge of color theory, composition, and digital imaging techniques.

  • Experience working with RAW files and high-resolution images.

  • Understanding of photo licensing and copyright laws.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
