Brief Description

• We are seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities, including planned, unplanned, and breakdown maintenance. 


• The role ensures smooth operations of mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.


• Handle breakdowns promptly and execute shutdown tasks.


• Assemble, install, and align equipment as required.


• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions.


• Investigate equipment failures to diagnose problems.


• Train technicians through on-the-job training (OJT).


• Maintain safety, comply with HSE standards, and ensure good housekeeping (5S practices).

Requirements

• Education: B.eng / B.Sc or HND in Mechyanical Engineering or related field.


• Experience: 12-15 years in DRI/Beneficiation/Pellet Plant, with at least 4 years as a Foreman.

Skills:

• Strong expertise in mechanical maintenance, hydraulic systems, troubleshooting, and alignments.


• Ability to interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical procedures.


• Experience in assembling/disassembling machines and inter-department coordination.


• Good knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance procedures.

Competencies:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Excellent technical knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
