Job Overview:  

• We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Mathematics Editor to join our Publishing Division.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, editing, and reviewing educational manuscripts and materials in Mathematics, ensuring high editorial standards, curriculum relevance, and overall content quality.


• The Company requires the services of the Editor at the Head Office, Ibadan, Oyo State. 

Job Description

• Carryout editorial work on manuscripts, including copy editing and proof reading        


• Draw up illustration briefs of book format for graphic artist and book designers


• Devise editorial strategies for specific subjects      


• Work with Production Department on manuscripts till the final product is published


• Brief sales representatives on new titles


• Monitor and review market performance of published books


• Provide technical insights to Sales representatives for campaigns and product descriptions.

Qualification & Required Skills  

• A relevant first degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics, Statistics  with a minimum of second-class lower division


• At least three (3) years post-qualification experience in a similar position


• Not more than 35 years of age


• Must be thorough and have the ability to pay attention to details


• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment


• Excellent communication skills 


• Must be proactive and versatile


• Applicants must be resident in Ibadan
