- Provides Structural Engineering discipline knowledge and experience to the Engineering team in supports of Assets. (Onshore, Offshore & Deepwater)
Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary, basic, and detailed structural engineering studies and produce associated deliverables, e.g. MTOs, structural calculations, drawings, etc.
- Perform structural engineering pre-studies as assigned by hierarchies.
- Review designs produced by COMPANY or contractors to ensure compliance with COMPANY referential, applicable laws and project specifications.
- Prepare and contribute to equipment specifications for procurement purposes.
- Review of subcontractor structural deliverables to ensure technical quality.
- Read and interpret facility engineering drawings and make necessary modifications or recommendations.
- Supports other ECP departments. Field Operations and other entities on structural related issues.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers of equipment and materials to ensure technical specifications are understood and met.
- Support tendering and technical evaluations related to Structural Engineering contractors.
- Prepare and cross-check relevant procedures, international standards and COMPANY technical specifications for application into design activities.
- Contributes to Safety Reviews Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Hazard Identification studies (HAZID)
- Participate in Job Risk Assessments (JRA), Constructability reviews and other relevant reviews.
Accountabilities:
- Strict compliance with all Company HSE requirements.
- Timely delivery of assigned engineering design scope.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: University Degree in Structural or mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience in an Engineering Organization in a similar position.
- Proficiency in common civil/structural applications (AutoCAD, STAADPro, SACS and NSO (Fastrudl, Isymost)).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
