Requirements
Content Creation & Curation:
- Develop and execute a content calendar for Twitter, aligning with SycamoreNG’s branding and marketing goals.
- Craft compelling tweets, threads, polls, and multimedia content (images, videos, GIFs) to boost engagement.
- Monitor trending topics and leverage them to enhance brand visibility (e.g., hashtags, viral challenges).
Community Engagement & Growth:
- Actively engage with followers, influencers, and industry leaders to build a loyal community.
- Respond to mentions, DMs, and comments in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to run Twitter Spaces, AMAs (Ask Me Anything), and live Q&A sessions.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Track KPIs (impressions, engagement rate, follower growth) using Twitter Analytics or tools like Hootsuite/Sprout Social.
- Provide monthly reports on performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Crisis Management & Brand Reputation:
- Monitor conversations about SycamoreNG and address misinformation or negative feedback professionally.
- Escalate critical issues to the PR/Communications team when necessary.
Collaboration & Campaigns:
- Work with designers, copywriters, and marketers to create cohesive campaigns.
- Promote blog posts, product launches, and events via Twitter.
Job Requirements & Person Specification
- Strong familiarity with the Twitter platform and its unique tone, features, and culture (particularly within the Nigerian fintech and tech space)
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone from professional to casual depending on context.
- Ability to identify and act on trends quickly and appropriately.
- Experience managing a professional or personal Twitter account with notable engagement.
- Excellent judgment in handling public conversations, including handling negative feedback or online criticism.
- Highly creative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or influencer account.
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as TweetDeck, Hootsuite, Buffer, Notion, or Sprout Social.
- Basic design skills using Canva, Figma, or other creative tools.
- A good understanding of marketing metrics and social listening tools.
