Location: Lekki, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)


• Developing content strategy using content pillars across various media platforms.


• Developing a content calendar and ensuring it aligns with the company’s marketing and communication goals.


• Collaborating with media and creative teams, to implement a digital content strategy for the brand.


• Writing clear and concise marketing copy to promote our products/services


• Identifying customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommending new topics


• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and brand voice)


• Create blog post articles for the company’s website.


• Performing extensive research and analysis on consumer insights, thoughts, and trends


• Content creation and curation of all web and social media content.


• Analyzing content marketing strategy to evaluate whether it's working or not.


• Proficiency using Microsoft office suite, Google business suite, and other content management software

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc / HND / M.Sc Degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, or any other field


• 2-5 years of experience in Content Management and Strategy


• Strong verbal and written communication.


• Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio


• Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions


• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision


• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management


• Experience working in an advertising agency is an added advantage.


• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary


• Excellent presentation skills.
